David Garrett

Minister of Missions and Administration

 
David exists to help people connect with God’s purpose, clarify God’s plan, and conduct lives filled with meaning. He leads hundreds of volunteers each year to get plugged into where God is moving from inside the local church to the ends of the earth. David is helping Shindler Drive in their journey to become “missional” in their approach to outreach and evangelism.
 
David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stetson University in Deland, Florida and a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before coming to Shindler Drive, he served as Minister of Education and Youth at Westwood Baptist Church in Live Oak, Florida and Ridgewood Baptist Church in Orange Park, Florida, and he served as a NAMB Missionary with the Jacksonville Baptist Association for 17 years.
 
David married his childhood sweetheart, Donnie and they have three children: daughter Darla and twin sons, Marcus and Caleb. They also have two grandchildren: Riley and Brody.

Herbert A. Beck

Minister of Worship and Discipleship

 
Herbert is a worshipper and believes that worship should be a private and personal lifestyle that simply and naturally overflows into corporate worship. Worship is not merely about singing songs and praising God but a lifestyle that exudes adoration for the Creator of the universe. He seeks to lead the Worship Ministry by leading and equipping people to worship, praise, glorify and adore our King!
 
Herbert was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. He earned his B.A. degree in Music from Clark Atlanta University and his M.A. in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to serving Shindler Drive Baptist Church, Herbert taught music in public school systems in Beaufort, South Carolina and St. Augustine, Florida. He has also served as Minister of Music at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Beaufort, South Carolina, Brick Baptist Church in St. Helena Island, South Carolina and Interim Worship Pastor at First Baptist Church of Palm Coast in Florida.
 
Herbert is married to his partner and helper in all things, (especially music) April. They met in choir while in college and they have three daughters: Cadence, Imani and Angel.

Ben Braly

Minister of Youth and Recreation
 
Ben is a follower of Christ who believes that discipleship starts in relationships. He is passionate about young people following Christ at a young age. Christianity is not just for adults, but it starts when you first accept Christ as Savior and Lord. Ben believes that young people can have as big of an impact for the kingdom as adults. He is passionate about creating disciples that follow Christ in all realms of life.
 
Ben was born and raised in Dallas, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing at Reinhardt University. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity in Christian Studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to coming on staff, Ben was an intern at the Summit Church in Raleigh, NC in their Young Professionals Ministry.
 
Ben is married to his best friend, Leah. They have one daughter: Haven.

Michelle Hudgins

Director of Preschool Ministry

 
Michelle is passionate about children, and she believes that an effective preschool ministry should minister to children and their families while developing a strong Christian foundation by teaching the fundamental building blocks of the faith. She believes that a child who enjoys coming to church and is surrounded by people who love them and love God, will come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
 
Michelle is married to her high school sweetheart, James, and has two children, Jake and Caroline.

Jim & Mandy Wells

International Mission Board (IMB) Missionaries

 
Jim is passionate about sharing the gospel of Jesus to the ends of the earth and about guiding others to join in this global endeavor. He longs to esteem Christ through obedience and making disciples.
 
Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Studies from The Baptist College of Florida and is currently finishing his Masters of Arts degree through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. While serving as Minister of Students at Shindler, God called Jim and Mandy to serve as missionaries with the International Mission Board. They have two children, Micah and Ellie.
